IN FOCUS – Endless Wars
One of the most important tools tyrants use to keep their subjects under control is maintaining a continual state of war. As George Orwell famously wrote in his novel 1984, “Oceania had always been at war with Eastasia.”

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are God-given rights all Americans share. In the following series of articles, America’s Future provides historical information and analysis about the tools and methods used by modern-day tyrants who are intent on destroying our nation for power and control. Read the articles to stay informed to fight back.
One of the most important tools tyrants use to keep their subjects under control is maintaining a continual state of war. As George Orwell famously wrote in his novel 1984, “Oceania had always been at war with Eastasia.”
When Americans recognize that massive immigration from third world countries is changing American politics, leftists are incensed. Americans were not supposed to notice. And if we ever complain that the political power and economic resources of Americans is being eroded by illegal newcomers, we are accused of believing in “Replacement theory,” or “The Great Replacement.”
The U.S. Constitution is a continuing source of annoyance to tyrants. It grants the federal government only a few, limited powers. It recognizes and protects God-given rights, like the right to keep and bear arms. If those in public office were faithful to the Constitution, the federal government would not pose a threat to the American People. So, how do Tyrants get around the U.S. Constitution?
This week marks the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the national holiday established to commemorate his life. It is a fitting time to reflect on a particular tool of tyrants that the FBI weaponized against King — blackmail. Just two days after King’s now-iconic “I Have a Dream” speech, assistant FBI director William Sullivan wrote, “We must mark him now … as the most dangerous Negro of the future of this Nation…”
It is truly remarkable how many Bible verses admonish us to “Fear not.” These verses begin with God speaking to Abram in Genesis 15:1, and continue through Jesus telling John “Fear not” in Revelation 1:17. In between, the gospels are overflowing with admonitions from Jesus to eschew fear, such as: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”
The Bible specifies that the purpose of civil government is “for the punishment of evildoers and the praise of those who do well.” I Peter 2:14 (emphasis added). A ruler is described as a “revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.” Romans 13:4 (emphasis added). In both verses, government’s role is described as responding to evildoing after it occurs — not anticipating and preventing it from occurring.
