GET IN THE FIGHT Illinois Summit Recap – January 26, 2024

America’s Future Get In The Fight Illinois brought the community together on January 26 at the Fox River Lutheran in Sheridan to listen and learn from leaders and experts in the areas of prevention, intervention, rescue, and recovery of children who are victims and survivors of child exploitation and trafficking. Watch the recap video of the summit panel, moderated by Investigative Journalist and America’s Future Board Director Lara Logan, and featuring panelists Bazzel Baz, founder and president of the Association for the Recovery of Children (ARC), Tara Lee Rodas, HHS whistleblower, Liz Crokin, investigative journalist and author, Michelle Peterson, “Andrew’s Law” advocate, and Tina Baz, ARC Human Trafficking Program Director. Lara, Baz, Tina, Liz, and Tara are members of America’s Future Project Defend & Protect Our Children Advisory Board.

General Mike Flynn, America’s Future Board Chair, and Mary O’Neill, Executive Director of America’s Future, delivered remarks and urged participants to get involved to help end the war against children. A full day of training programs followed on January 27 to provide participants with further knowledge and tools to help end child exploitation and trafficking in their communities.

America’s Future Get In The Fight nationwide campaign was established to build a grassroots network across the country determined to help end child exploitation and trafficking in America. It is presented as part of America’s Future Project Defend & Protect Our Children (PDPC) and the PDPC Little Flower Advisory Board.
