Truth - Lies

Our ruling class has run off the rails. The endless hypocrisy, double-standard, and dishonest conduct expose its disdain for this country’s hard-working Americans. This week brings more breaking news of corruption — and maybe you won’t be surprised to hear it goes to the very top.

The National Archives released 82,000 emails addressed from or to anonymous accounts used by Joe Biden during the eight years of his vice presidency in the Barack Obama administration. The shadow email addresses behind which he hid his interactions from the American public are “[email protected],” “[email protected]” and [email protected].

The sheer volume of emails is so large there’s not yet been a full accounting of what Biden was hiding or with whom he was communicating. One preliminary report shows at least ten emails sent between May 18 and June 15, 2016 cc’d his son Hunter. One notified Hunter of a scheduled call between the vice president and former Ukrainian President, Petro Poroshenko — the Ukrainian official Biden famously strongarmed for personal gain. According to Joe Biden’s own account, he warned Poroshenko that if he didn’t fire the prosecutor investigating the company paying Hunter $80,000 a month, he’d withhold a $1 billion U.S. loan guarantee from the Kyiv government.

This Biden document scandal comes in addition to the Justice Department investigation into the classified records the president has secreted in his personal residences since his time in the Senate. But the latest revelations may dwarf Hillary Clinton’s email server scandal. She used a private server in order to hide her correspondence from Freedom of Information Act requests, but by using the unsecured device she exposed U.S. secrets to foreign intelligence services. And that, of course, was the real basis of Russiagate.

Her 2016 campaign feared that among the thousands of emails she deleted from her server, some might give evidence of a potential pay-for-play scheme while she was Secretary of State at the same time the Clinton Foundation was securing donations from foreign countries. The Clinton camp wanted to know if anyone was planning to release her emails before the election as an October Surprise to ruin her candidacy. So, after the FBI cleared her of criminal charges for mishandling classified information, it spied on the Trump campaign to see what they knew about her communications — or financial arrangements — with foreign actors.

There seems to be something about Democratic Party presidential candidates and their emails, almost as if they just can’t help leaving around incriminating evidence — which US law enforcement and intelligence services then hide. That was the point of the “51 Spies” letter, signed by former senior spies, the majority of them affiliated with the CIA, who undoubtedly, in their collection of foreign powers and state enterprises, found proof of Biden family corruption. Rather than honor their service to the country, they protected a family using the highest offices in the land to enrich themselves, even as the Democratic Party candidate, and now President, promised to impoverish middle-class Americans.

Yes, the ruling class has run off the rails. They’re government gangsters, as Kash Patel calls them, a Beltway mafia that can’t help themselves from helping themselves to the wealth created by the country’s hard-working middle-class. To stop them, it’s up to We the People. And that’s always been the case: only Americans can save America. Stand strong, speak the truth, and stand together – be the fearless force in this fight for our nation.

America Patriots - Rich Valdes

Rich Valdes is a syndicated radio host on Westwood One, with his talk show “This is America with Rich Valdes” lighting up the airwaves Monday through Friday nights. A self-motivated entrepreneur from a young age, he turned his hair-cutting hobby in his dad’s apartment into a barbershop business at 16. Rich is among the conservative movement’s most prominent Latino voices. We spoke with him recently to get his views on what’s happening in our great country.

What are the issues that most concern your radio listeners?

The economy and the breakdown of society as we know it seem to be the biggest issues facing most people I speak with. Whether it’s the relentless push based on the demonic teachings of Dr. Alfred Kinsey and Dr. Daniel Carleton Gajdusek to normalize pedophilia and hyper-sexualize the school curriculum for young children, or the disregard for human life that we see more and more on a daily basis (like open borders and crime), humanity is dissipating before our very eyes — and people are noticing.

You’re a New York City native and still work there; are New Yorkers changing their minds about open borders?

Whenever I walk through Times Square, I’m reminded of how safe, clean, and vibrant the City once was under  a Republican mayor. Lamentably, NYC is now filthy, unsafe, and overloaded with illegal immigrants, local and out-of-state drug addicts living on the streets, and a largely unaddressed crisis of mentally ill homeless citizens. It’s heartbreaking.

The Latino community is very conservative socially, taking pride in family life and strong Christian values; is it becoming more conservative politically as well?

Culture plays a pivotal role in one’s worldview, and it’s worth noting that despite growing up in poverty in NYC with parents born in Puerto Rico, we were all born U.S. citizens and took pride in our country and patriotism. My mom would give us the death stare to remind us of the threat of getting whacked with a flying “chancleta” (flip-flop sandal) if we didn’t put our hand over our heart during the pledge of allegiance or the national anthem, the same way she would if we were talking or horsing around in church on Sunday morning. While the leftwing media would have most believe that Hispanics and Latinos are predominantly left-leaning, the reality is that my entire life, there was a strong emphasis on God, country, and family. I’d say that remains the same today for most of the people I knew growing up and know today. I feel it’s becoming more noticeable that Hispanics are saying adios to the liberal left now that there are so many choices for news and information. Univision and Telemundo have less of a stronghold on Hispanic households than they used to, and I think the number of Hispanics supporting conservative candidates is slowly proving that. I would expect to see greater increases in liberty-loving Latino amigos, like me, as we get closer to 2024 and beyond. One’s ethnicity and culture doesn’t make anyone immune to the disaster known as Bidenomics, the horrific human smuggling operation that the Democrats are overseeing at the southern border, or the destabilization of peace throughout the world as we’ve seen in Europe, and most recently in the Middle East. I think it’s safe to say that the Democrat party is losing its grip on the fastest-growing voting bloc in America — Hispanics. While this trend started with the election of George W. Bush, it was the presidency of Donald J. Trump and his America First policies that catalyzed this movement of liberty-loving Latino amigos who embrace their faith, culture and conservative values.

Growing up in the City, did you ever think that fellow New Yorker Donald Trump would become the leading figure in our country’s fight to restore peace and prosperity?

When I was a kid, Donald Trump was a superstar. I remember him saying, “If you think becoming a billionaire is tough, try doing it twice.” Trump is a larger-than-life personality, and I never thought he’d run for president, but I’m so glad he did. The establishment bureaucracy and leftists within the media have shown their hand in their treatment of him, and it’s made Americans more informed.

What is your prayer for America?

My prayer for America is for a renewed national spirit of patriotism. A love of country that knows no party and puts We the People above political power. And, of course, a restored sense of civility and respect for God that’s much needed.

America’s Future Issues Call To Action To Protect Children
Help Sign

Last week, Americans heard from four whistleblowers who shared their eyewitness accounts of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) Program’s shocking treatment of thousands of migrant children entering the U.S. at the southern border in an America’s Future exposé special entitled, “Where Did The Children Go.” As the video went viral, revealing horrifying facts, the public responded, asking what they could do to help.

Today, America’s Future is issuing a call to action in response to the outpouring of people wanting to help and calling on citizens to join together to stop the HHS from adopting its reckless proposal to change the rules governing the UAC Program, announced on the Federal Register on October 4, 2023. (The UAC Program is operated through the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), a division of the Administration for Children & Families (ACF), an HHS agency.)

“As broken as the UAC Program is,” said Mary O’Neill, Executive Director of America’s Future, “this proposed rule circumvents accountability and produces even more harm, abuse, and irreparable pain and suffering to innocent children. It is an insult to every American, every family, every taxpayer, and especially to the children, who are in this country’s care.”

She urges citizens to get involved during the public comment period of the rulemaking process and submit comments objecting to the Notice for Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) by December 4, 2023, when the public comment period closes. If adopted, the proposed rule will further subvert the UAC Program by materially altering the federal regulations indexed at 45 CFR Part 410, governing “the care, custody, and placement of UAC’s.”

Additionally, and as noted in an in-depth examination of the proposed rule in the Fourth Presentment of Florida’s Statewide Grand Jury, HHS’s changes, “essentially codifies [into law] many of the abominable policies” currently in place, such as improper vetting of sponsors, “losing jurisdiction over UAC’s,” and failing to terminate custody arrangements “even in the case of sponsors who have abused and/or trafficked the children…”

Furthermore, the proposed rule attempts to fundamentally change defined or commonly understood words like “influx” and “emergency.”  Worse yet, this proposed rule fails to address the unlawful and immoral funneling of countless children, including UACs, in and out of foster care facilities “that may not meet the standards of (a standard program),” reports the Grand Jury, adding, “ORR cannot adequately meet the requirements the agency is currently subject to; it, therefore, seeks radical redefinition of both the goals it is mandated to achieve and the processes whereby it is mandated to do so…These are the lives of children we are discussing, not some depersonalized set of numerical values.”

The Florida Grand Jury, having taken the reigns in investigating national consequences of the perilous UAC Program, at the same time focusing on its own jurisdiction, released the Fourth Presentment on October 20, 2023, following its Third Presentment, which delivered comprehensive information, including facts and data, and provided irrefutable evidence of dysfunction within HHS agencies and the existence of a dangerously flawed UAC Program that places migrant children directly in harm’s way and fuels child trafficking.“

“We are grateful to the brave whistleblowers and the State of Florida for taking the lead in investigating federal agencies and government officials who are failing to fulfill their obligation of ensuring the unaccompanied migrant children who enter the U.S. receive proper custody, care, and services and we are thankful their findings are available to the public,” said O’Neill. “Now, we need to raise our voices, submit comments, and call our federal and state representatives to end this madness. HHS has already lost at least 85,000 children, likely more. Enough is enough!”

The public can submit comments by logging on to the Federal Register :: Unaccompanied Children Program Foundational Rule. America’s Future will continue its efforts to raise awareness and educate the public to help end child exploitation and trafficking wherever it exists.

Countdown to the 2024 Election
Get Involved

Tuesday, November 5, 2024, is election day – one year away. History will view the 2024 presidential election as the most consequential in our lifetime.  The ramifications of the outcome will be far-reaching and will create ripple effects globally.

To save America from further decline, commit today to encouraging and motivating family members, neighbors, and friends to turn out the vote.  So much hangs in the balance:  Our way of life, our civil rights and liberties, our security and safety, our economic survival, our history and traditions, the fate of future generations, and the continued existence of our self-governing Constitutional Republic.

America’s next commander-in-chief will be tasked with the extraordinary responsibility of restoring our constitutional order and stabilizing the world. Time is of the essence to save America.

There are actions to take to get involved, like becoming a poll worker or joining a campaign. And, below are a few other suggestions to consider now.

  • Assist and encourage your family members, friends, colleagues, and associates to vote, and do not avoid discussing important political and societal issues.  Arm yourself with facts, data, perspective, and common sense. Stay informed.
  • Be involved with your local political associations and committees and encourage others to do the same.  This will ensure your voice is heard.  And, remember, local political action groups and committees play key roles in vote accumulation and ballot harvesting.
  • Campaign for your preferred candidates.  Be outspoken.  There is a silent majority in America likely thinking the same way you do.  Help them find their voice.  Hearing you stand up for what you know to be true and right will likely reduce the reluctance of others to speak up in the face of a deeply corrupt and weaponized federal government.
  • Do your part to uphold the integrity of our elections and to stand firm for free and fair elections in America.  If the right to vote is undermined, all other rights are lost.
  • Know your local representatives and election board members and demand election integrity, accountability, and transparency. Let them know you are paying attention. Better yet, run for elected office or volunteer to sit on a local board.
  • Avoid propagandists – media and otherwise – that are intent on distracting us, dividing us, and destroying America. Do your own research.

In the coming months, stand up for what’s right and good and stand against abhorrent acts and conduct. The days of allowing intimidation to silence We The People are over. Stand firm against political hacks infiltrating America’s political institutions: your voice and vote count.

In Focus Using The Congressional Impeachment Power

Impeaching Biden for Weaponizing Government

This is the twelfth entry in our IN FOCUS section examining the impeachment power to help give readers a historical and constitutional context to this political process. To access previous articles, please click here.

Among the many resolutions of impeachment that have been filed against President Biden is one authored by Congressman Andrew Ogles (R-TN):  H.Res. 493.  That resolution charges that Biden has “obstructed, and impeded the administration of justice” and “weaponized the Executive Office of the President” to cover the influence-peddling schemes of himself and Hunter Biden.  Mr. Ogles’ charges focus on how Biden has misused government to cover up his own criminal activities — which clearly would provide grounds for impeachment.

However, it is remarkable that to date, not one impeachment resolution has been filed against Biden for weaponizing government to target his political opponents.  The list of such abuses is long and painful.  It includes the arrests and overzealous prosecution of most January 6 Capitol protesters for minor offenses.  It involves treating pro-life protestors as domestic terrorists.  And most recently, the FBI has classified many Donald Trump supporters as what they call “Anti-government, anti-authority, violent extremists” — shortened to “AGAAVE.”  Congress has viewed such abuses as so significant that it created the “House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government,” chaired by Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH).

To be sure, the Department of Justice’s weaponization against political opponents was the focus of an impeachment resolution filed by Congresswoman Majorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), but there she sought to remove Attorney General Merrick Garland: H.Res. 410.  However, the responsibility for weaponizing the Justice Department is not limited to Garland — President Biden has equal, if not greater, responsibility.  The Constitution does not mention the office of the Attorney General: Garland is an officer of the United States appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate to a position created by Congress — but his job is not set out in the Constitution.  The Constitution does not even mention the U.S. Department of Justice, which also is a creature of Congress.

Under the Constitution, the chief law enforcement of the United States is not the Attorney General; it is the President of the United States.  The most familiar constitutional duty of the President may be to serve as “commander in chief of the Army and Navy of the United States.”  But a President’s most important domestic responsibility is to “take care that the laws be faithfully executed.” Article II, Sections 2 and 3.

There is ample precedent for presidential impeachment based on abuse of the law enforcement role.  For example, one of the articles of impeachment approved by the House Judiciary Committee accused President Nixon of weaponizing federal agencies to punish political opponents, stating:

He misused the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Secret Service, and other executive personnel, in violation or disregard of the constitutional rights of citizens, by directing or authorizing such agencies or personnel to conduct or continue electronic surveillance or other investigations for purposes unrelated to national security, the enforcement of laws, or any other lawful function of his office….  [“Impeachment of Richard M. Nixon, The Final Report of the House Committee on the Judiciary” at 5 (emphasis added).]

Nixon was famous for having created an “enemies list.”  In 1971, White House counsel John Dean wrote a memo titled “Dealing with our political enemies.”  The memo discussed “how we can use the available federal machinery to screw our political enemies, including grant availability, federal contracts, litigation, prosecution.”  (Emphasis added.)

In 1972, John Dean gave Internal Revenue Service Commissioner Johnnie Mac Walters a list of some 200 prominent Democrats he wanted the IRS to investigate.  Horrified, Walters simply buried the list in his safe and never investigated anyone.  The problem is not limited to Republicans, as the Obama administration used the IRS to deny exemptions to and investigate conservative and Tea Party groups.  Retired IRS Commissioner Walters stated that he was “distressed” at Obama’s weaponization of the IRS.

But Nixon and Obama were pikers at weaponization compared to Joe Biden.  Biden dispatched the FBI to raid his Republican predecessor’s home in an effort to find classified documents to use in a political prosecution.  Meanwhile, when it was revealed that both Biden and Obama had taken classified documents, the administration was unconcerned.  “What Richard Nixon tried to do, Barack Obama succeeded in doing,” noted Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX).

And now under Joe Biden, it has metastasized, where the institutional resistance of DOJ and the FBI has been worn down.  They put hard partisans in the senior career levels at those institutions, and they now view themselves as the jackbooted thugs for the DNC….  And that’s not what the Department of Justice is supposed to be.  That’s not what the FBI is supposed to be.  [Emphasis added.]

Biden also created a “Disinformation Governance Board,” tasked primarily with censoring speech by political opponents of the Biden regime.  The “DGB” was quickly disbanded, at least temporarily, when it drew massive protest and comparisons to the Soviet KGB and George Orwell’s “Ministry of Truth.”  But as the House Oversight Committee noted, “[w]hile the Administration publicly paused the creation of its ‘Disinformation Governance Board,’ [the administration] continues to suppress dissenting viewpoints.”

The states of Missouri and Louisiana filed suit to stop Biden from coercing social media to censor opposing views.  Federal district judge Terry Doughty ordered the administration to stop what the plaintiff states called a “vast censorship enterprise” to suppress opposition views on election integrity, COVID-19 vaccines, and other issues.  Judge Doughty called Biden’s censorship of political opponents perhaps “the most massive attack against free speech in United States’ history.”

On appeal, the Fifth Circuit upheld the heart of Doughty’s ruling, finding that the White House coerced social media platforms to shut down opposing speakers through “intimidating messages and threats of adverse consequences.”  The matter is now pending before the U.S. Supreme Court.  That litigation has proven to be popular with voters, as it was brought by two state Attorneys General who now have been promoted to higher office.  Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt was elected in 2022 to the U.S. Senate.  He explained why he filed suit:  “Since taking office, President Biden and his team have labored to suppress viewpoints with which they disagree.”  Schmitt’s colleague in bringing that case, Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry is now Governor-elect of Louisiana.

As if designed to prove the charges of weaponization, IRS agents went to the home of journalist Matt Taibbi on the same day he was scheduled to testify before Congress on Biden’s weaponization of government.  “What are the chances of that being just luck?”  Summarizing all the abuses, Dave Bossie, President of Citizens United, explained: “The precedent has now been set — call it the Biden Doctrine — and from here on in, using the Department of Justice and the other levers of power in government to punish political opponents is acceptable.”

The damage that the Biden Administration has done to the nation is incalculable, but impeachment continues to be slow-walked by House Republicans.  The good news is that our new House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) has courage and conviction, which he demonstrated in organizing the filing of an amicus brief by 126 Congressmen in the U.S. Supreme Court challenging the 2020 election.  We trust that courage and conviction will now propel him to rally the House Republican troops to move forward on presidential impeachment.
