“You can’t handle the truth” is one of the most famous lines Hollywood has ever given movie audiences. In the 1992 classic, “A Few Good Men,” hard-charging Marine Colonel Nathan Jessup, played by the legendary Jack Nicholson, is firing back at JAG lawyer, Daniel Kaffee, played by Tom Cruise in one of his greatest roles.

During cross-examination, the young JAG lawyer has steadily cornered Jessup, backing him into acknowledging what, up until that point, the politically well-connected senior officer has concealed. What we often forget, absorbed in the intensity of the courtroom drama unfolding, is the phrase that prompts Jessup’s rage. “I want the truth,” says Kaffee.

That’s us, Americans, We The People. We want the truth. Instead, our ruling class prides itself on keeping it from us. Count the lies.

The banking system is fine, says Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, as more mid-size regional banks edge toward the cliff. Should they fall, we can expect to see our economy take an enormous hit, with middle-class families taking the worst of it.

Last month, deputy CIA director Michael Morrell finally revealed, under oath, that current Secretary of State Anthony Blinken was responsible for organizing the letter signed by 51 former intelligence officials just before the 2020 election, falsely claiming that Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation. This week, America’s top diplomat lied to the press saying it wasn’t his idea, that he “didn’t ask for it, didn’t solicit it.”

White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre says that since implementing the current administration’s border policies, illegal immigration is down more than 90%. One reporter called this “maybe the biggest lie from the White House podium so far this year.” The number of illegal aliens crossing the border is soaring, border states are grappling with record numbers of illegals, and calls for the administration to declare a national emergency have gone unanswered.

After ABC News edited parts of Democratic Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy’s interview in which he criticized the vaccine industry, COVID shots in particular, the network claimed, “Data shows that the COVID-19 vaccine has prevented millions of hospitalizations and deaths from the disease.” That’s a lie — we know now that deaths attributed to COVID-19 were done so falsely. And, studies around the world show that the vaccinations did not prevent infection from the coronavirus or stop transmission. Worse, the shots have harmed hundreds of thousands, maybe more.

We’ve got a country in crisis, and for all our problems, the biggest one isn’t with the banking system or at the border or Big Pharma’s ugly relationship with the media. And it’s not our challenges abroad either, not with China or Russia or Islamic terrorists. No, our most pressing crisis is right here at home — U.S. leadership, the public and private sector, civilian and military, lies to the American people as a matter of habit. We’ve got a truth crisis.

But we’ll get it in the end… just like Tom Cruise’s character in “A Few Good Men,” we’re entitled to answers. We want the truth. And as Americans, we demand it.

Can you fill us in on your media venture, Mike Lindell TV?

The left media wanted to cancel my voice and tried everything to attack me. After February 4, 2021, when the voting machine company Smartmatic sued Fox, I couldn’t even go on conservative media to put out the truth. So I started up my own media company. I put money into Frankspeech.com to set up Mike Lindell TV. I put up $12 million for our own servers and back-end technology, so we can’t get canceled. We have two channels on twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, and we’re adding a third channel. They tried to cancel my voice and the voices of many others like Gen. Mike Flynn, but 4 million people use it right now,

What will it take for the U.S. economy to recover?

Getting Donald Trump, our real President, back in office.

What’s your advice to young entrepreneurs on starting a business?

Three things: Learn from someone who’s been there; treat every customer like your only customer and every employee like your only employee; watch for deviations, bad or good. Find out why it happened and learn from them immediately, in real time. If it’s a good deviation, duplicate it. If it’s a bad one, don’t do it again. If you don’t follow up, bound to fail.

What is the greatest challenge facing our country right now?

Electronic voting machines. This stands above everything else. We have to get rid of them, or else we lose our country. Every problem comes from that. Once you have candidates who are selected and not elected, it’s over.

You’re known not only for your business success but your great faith. What is your prayer for America right now?

It’s a two-part prayer. First, I pray for as many people as possible to find the Lord. More people turn to Jesus Christ in bad times than in good ones, and we are going through a bad time. The second part of the prayer is for our country. We only have one shot to save the United States of America, there’s no tomorrow.

Get In The Fight!

Get up, get out, and get in the fight because no one can stand by while the precious lives of children are destroyed at the hands of predators and traffickers…and even the U.S. government. Be courageous like Tara Lee Rodas, who while working at the Department of Health and Human Services blew the whistle on the federal government and its agencies for arguably, as she said, becoming “…the middleman in a large scale, multi-billion-dollar, child trafficking operation that is run by bad actors seeking to profit off of the lives of children.” Ms. Rodas’ striking comments were offered in testimony at a House Judiciary Committee Congressional hearing last month.

This month, on Saturday, May 6, 2023, the warrior for the safety and protection of children and government accountability is scheduled to speak at the annual SkippyDeeDooDah Skip-A-Thon in Sarasota, Florida. The event begins at 4:00 p.m. at Ken Thompson Park, 1700 Ken Thompson Parkway, and aims to raise awareness of the crisis of child sex trafficking and raise funds for aftercare restorative programs for survivors of child sex slavery and sexual exploitation.

Created by Florida philanthropist and real estate agent Angela Schermerhorn for families and individuals of all ages, the event provides attendees a chance to “learn the facts, learn prevention methods to keep their babies safe, peacefully gather voices to eliminate these crimes against children, teach communities to be aware of warning signals, educate parents on behaviors and understand the schemes of predators and traffickers used to draw in even the most well-protected children into their crimes.”

Joining Ms. Rodas as part of the speaking program will be members of America’s Future leadership and team of advisors for its Project Defend & Protect Our Children (PDPC), Mary O’Neill, executive director of America’s Future, along with advisors Liz Crokin, investigative journalist, Mike Smith, director-producer and director of the renowned film, Out of Shadows, and Lynz Piper-Loomis, survivor and author of I Am Silent No More, her story of the tragedies she faced and overcame.

Although no state in the nation is immune from the crisis of human trafficking, according to the National Human Trafficking Hotline, the State of Florida continues to rank among the top three in America. Exasperating the issue of human trafficking in Florida is the federal government’s disastrous management of unaccompanied children (UAC) at the border.

Last month, a Florida Grand Jury released its report with shocking findings regarding federal agencies, the same ones Ms. Rodas blew the whistle on. In one part of the report, members of the Grand Jury gave insight into the activities of the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement (HHS/ORR): “In reality, ORR is facilitating the forced migration, sale, and abuse of foreign children… and some of our fellow Florida residents are (in some cases unwittingly) funding and incentivizing it for primarily economic reasons…This process exposes children to horrifying health conditions, constant criminal threat, labor and sex trafficking, robbery, rape, and other experiences not done justice by mere words. We will never be able to forget or un-see some of the heart-wrenching testimony, disturbing videos, and infuriating abuse we have observed in the course of our five-month investigation.”

Amicus Motion by America’s Future Granted in
West Virginia Title IX Case

Today, May 4, 2023, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit granted a Motion for Leave to file an Amicus brief, submitted yesterday by America’s Future along with five other nonprofit organizations in B.P.J v West Virginia State Board of Educators (WVSBE), et al., Dkt. No. 23-1078 (4th Cir. 2023). Our Amicus brief was filed in support of the defendants, WVSBE, and provides the court with valuable insight regarding the constitutional validity of a 2021 West Virginia state statute protecting women’s sports and, by virtue, women.

Our brief further offers the court a historical framework, weaving together principles of Natural Law, our American Judeo-Christian system of beliefs, and principled reason, all of which serve as the undergirds of our nation’s charter. Consistent with these principles as well as irrefutable chromosomal science, the West Virginia state statute, known as “Save Women’s Sports Act,” deliberately and appropriately defines “female,” “girl,” and “woman” as describing biological females.

The plaintiff in this case, B.P.J., born with XY chromosomes, is a 12-year-old male who describes himself as a “transgender girl.” The lawsuit, brought on behalf of this young man, challenges the West Virginia statute under the Equal Protection Clause and Title IX; and seeks court intervention to strike the statute and permit him to compete on the girls’ track and cross country teams.

As fully detailed in our brief, “the plaintiff’s argument fails from the start. Indeed, it begins with a false statement: ‘B.P.J. is a 12-year-old girl….’ If that statement were actually true, the lawsuit should be dismissed, as it would completely undercut [the plaintiff]’s claim. Then, [the plaintiff] would have no dispute with the West Virginia statute, as all girls can play on girls’ teams. But [the plaintiff] then admits that its opening assertion is false, as it takes the position: ‘B.P.J. is transgender.’” In reality, the plaintiff is requesting the Court disregard the facts of the matter and give great weight and deference to the emotions of a litigant. Courts, however, are not in the business of protecting the feelings of one litigant or another.

As our brief states, “[m]uch has changed in America since 1972, but what has not changed is the text, history, or tradition of Title IX or the Equal Protection Clause. There is nothing ‘deeply rooted in this Nation’s history and tradition’ about allowing biological males to compete on female sports teams. If Congress wishes to expand the coverage of Title IX, it certainly knows how to do so. This Court should not usurp that legislative function. Title IX means what it has always meant. It means what it says. It was intended to give girls equal opportunities with boys in school sports. Allowing the false illusion of a boy ‘identifying’ as a girl to rob girls of those opportunities is prohibited by the express terms and the clear legislative history of Title IX. And at a deeply human level, it erases the identities and opportunities of the girls and women robbed of those opportunities today, in the name of destructive gender ideology. West Virginia’s statute upholds the rights of West Virginia’s women and girls. This Court should uphold these as well.”

We, at America’s Future, take the position that this court should affirm the lower court’s order granting defendants’ motion for summary judgment and rule the West Virginia state statute as valid and constitutionally permissive.

Congress Should Defund NGOs Transporting Illegal Aliens

This is the second entry in our new IN FOCUS section highlighting some of the most abusive and oppressive federal agencies and programs that House Republicans should target for ending. Readers will find the first two articles of the series here.

There is an abundance of unnecessary and shameful federal programs and agencies which the Republicans now controlling the House of Representatives should stop funding. (Indeed, it would be an easier project to develop a list of federal programs and agencies which should be funded.) Today, we focus on how the House could cut off funding for just one program, which would help stem the tide of illegal aliens that is rolling over the nation.

There is no time to waste. By one estimate, 4.9 million immigrants have entered the nation under the Biden Administration’s Open Door policy – roughly the entire population of Ireland.

Also, Title 42 health restrictions on border crossings will expire next week, on May 11, 2023.

The Biden Administration recently announced that it was sending 1,500 active-duty troops to shore up the Southern Border, but those troops will be there for only 90 days and really will not be defending the border. A Pentagon spokesman described their role as to: “fill critical capability gaps, such as ground-based detection and monitoring, data entry, and warehouse support, until CBP can address these needs through contracted support.” He stressed: “Military personnel will not directly participate in law enforcement activities.” So, that sounds like the military will fill the role of government contractors until the contractors can be engaged – not exactly putting our troops on the border to defend our country. The truth may be more along the lines of a satirical story in The Babylon Bee: “Biden Deploys 1,500 Troops At Border to Help Register New Voters.”

The Biden Administration’s refusal to enforce the nation’s immigration laws is so blatant that many believe it should be the basis for a resolution of impeachment and removal of both President Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas, but House Republicans have no stomach to fight that battle. However, there is a plan that just might work.

It seems obvious that the Biden Administration will not spend appropriated funds to enforce existing laws to protect our border, and the power of the purse cannot change that. However, the House could defund the Biden Administration transporting illegal aliens into cities and communities across America. Shipping illegal aliens away from the border gets the federal government off the hook for the consequences of its actions, as state and local governments are forced to shoulder the costs of housing, medical care, and criminal enforcement.

This will not be easy, for at the end of the last Congress in December 2022, the Biden Administration, Nancy Pelosi’s House Democrats, and the Senate (where Mitch McConnell’s troops refused to stage a filibuster) passed the massive “omnibus” bill, spending $1.7 trillion. Nor was it just the bloated size of the bill that was such an affront to the taxpayers. Even more infuriating is where the dollars will go.

The omnibus bill contained $1.5 billion for Border Patrol “border management” efforts, but the money expressly cannot be used to improve border security. The funds can be used, however, to “to improve Border Patrol processing” of illegals, who are often then released across America. The bill also quadrupled funding to reimburse nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) involved in transporting and releasing illegal immigrants across America.

To take one state as just an illustration, Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn and Governor Bill Lee, both Republicans, criticized the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for sending busloads of illegal immigrants and releasing them in Tennessee under ICE’s “Alternatives to Detention” (ATD) program. The New Orleans ICE field office works in coordination with Tennessee Immigration and Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRRC), a left-wing immigration advocacy group, to bus these immigrants to Tennessee. Blackburn wrote to ICE director Tae Johnson: “We have learned that as many as 50 single-adult, detained illegal immigrants could be bused to Tennessee at a time, with the possibility of multiple busloads each week. Further, these individuals would be released into Tennessee while they await court proceedings.”

The same thing is happening elsewhere. The ICE ATD operates in over 300 locations around the nation, according to ICE. In December 2022, the Heritage Foundation announced the results of an investigation it conducted using geofencing data of illegal immigrants’ cell phones as the immigrants were transported and released across the country. A former DHS official explains it this way: “What we uncovered is a mass resettlement program in which the Biden administration works hand-in-hand with NGOs” and “NGOs that support these radical policies are facilitating it. The NGOs are happy to step into the breach and form the final link in the drug cartels’ human smuggling operation, ensuring these individuals make it all around the country.”

Not surprisingly, “Of the 52 congressional districts with the highest density of devices, 71% were Republican congressional districts.” Not content to use illegal immigration to turn Texas blue, the Biden administration, with the help of Senate Republicans, has targeted scores of red House districts for flipping as well. As Heritage puts it, “Biden’s border crisis has turned every state into a border state.”

If House Republicans are ever going to use the power of the purse to shut down Biden’s destructive war on America’s institutions, communities, and values, defunding the corrupt alliance between the federal government and leftwing NGOs would be a great place to start. And here, House Republicans would have an additional motive to defend the nation – protecting their own seats in Congress. It is a wonderful thing when the interests of the nation and the interests of politicians coincide – something just might get done.
