The Christmas season is an opportunity to recommit to one of the central principles that America’s Future stands for — to renew and revitalize the role of faith in our lives, families, communities and country. More than ever, our nation needs all of us to speak up for the Judeo-Christian values that America was founded upon. And so, at this special time of the year, we start a new series of feature articles on the guiding principles of America’s Future, starting with faith.

First, faith brings Hope — and the understanding that life itself is a miracle. And also, hope for the future of our great nation that our God-given rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness will never be denied. Let’s celebrate the miracle of life and share our voices proclaiming in unison that this nation is exceptional and that our Judeo-Christian values are what bind us together.

And Peace. Sometimes our concerns and fears feel overwhelming. Whether it’s for our safety, or the safety of loved ones, the health of a child or a parent, worries over a job, or financial troubles. These are tremulous times for our country. May our faith remind us that peace comes from the faith that God has a plan and we are in His hands.

Also Love. We love our families, our friends and communities. We love our great nation, too. Through our faith we ask God to increase our love, that we may show it in all our actions and thoughts, and in our exchanges with neighbors and strangers.

And finally, Joy. Let our faith resonate with joy and be the inspiration we need to get involved in our communities and speak up for the values and doctrines America was founded upon.
