The job of the press is to inform the American public. That means all of us, left and right, rich and poor, young and old. Sadly, that hasn’t been the case for a decade or more. At this point, the choices made by media today reflect the ambitions and perspectives of a very small part of the population – a privileged elite detached from, and too often hostile to, the vast majority of Americans. Why then, do we call it the “mainstream media” if it doesn’t represent the American mainstream?

In this week’s continuing series on the media’s loss of trust by Americans due to its peddling of propaganda in collusion with Big Tech and Big Government, we explore the media’s attempt to coerce our common-sense opinions to conform with the dangerous ideas of a destructive elite that it caters to.

If you’re like us, you’ve found yourself watching some newscast or reading a story and questioning its value and authenticity. You find yourself asking: Will this information help me keep my family safe? Will it help me make decisions about issues important to our community or country? Does it inspire me to reach out and help others?

More often than not, the answer is a resounding NO.

The constant drumbeat of same-same dangerous narratives across legacy press outlets – the MSM – are designed to break our peace and divide us further. None of the ideas like sterilizing children through medications and surgeries (a gruesome and unholy undertaking) as “gender-affirming” care are held by most Americans, none of them are mainstream. Those days are gone.

Today, the media’s intention is clear as one of our readers pointed out in a recent survey: They have proven repeatedly over the last 10 to 15 years that they are willing to report on whatever is fed to them by the political party in control of their networks. Whether it’s foreign or domestic, they’ve participated in coverups, withholding crucial information from the American people regarding actual events, fear mongering, misrepresentation, and promoting ideas that are detrimental to the success of our country. They might as well be a state-run media like the CCP or Russia. There is no integrity.

What millions of Americans are doing to stop the madness caused by a wayward press catering to a select elite is liberating themselves from the MSM’s false reality, a world scored by anger, hatred, and fear. And that’s a good thing. We at America’s Future urge you now more than ever to break free of the madhouse designed by a media that’s anything but “mainstream.”
