First Responders Training Program
Church Sanctuary
Targeted training on the dynamics of sex trafficking in America. To properly and successfully identify and respond to a situation, first responders must familiarize themselves with characteristics specific to the crime and victimization experienced by survivors. While every survivor’s experience is unique, certain reoccurring dynamics and victimization patterns have been observed and documented.
Instructor: Tina Baz, ARC Human Trafficking Program Director

For the past decade, she has been professionally engaged in combating sex trafficking in the U.S., specializing in child sex trafficking prevention, locating victims, assisting victims of gang/organized crime trafficking, victim advocacy, and victim services.
Having worked extensively with victims who are being actively sex trafficked, those who want to get out, and those in recovery, she possesses a wealth of street-level insight into the vulnerabilities, traumas, and needs of victims, as well as the inner workings of the commercial sex trade, gang trafficking, and the human trafficking criminal enterprise. Tina has spearheaded collaborative emergency response programs that provide rescue, triage evaluation, care, and connection to residential placement and services for sex trafficking victims.
Tina participates in several anti-human trafficking task forces and collaborations. By building relationships with elected officials, District Attorneys’ offices, and state and federal legislators, she is able to provide accurate, critical knowledge that influences human trafficking policies, laws, and new legislation. Michelle Peterson is a middle American mother tired of being the silent majority. She is a fierce defender of our God-given rights, Christian values, and our children – by all means and at any cost. Michelle has coordinated several large patriot events in Illinois with guest speakers, including Dr. Peter McCullough, Dr. Bryan Ardis, Emily Peterson, the Iowa liaison with Moms for America, Seth Keshel, Dr. Judy Mikovits, and General Michael Flynn. Michelle’s son was the unfortunate victim of grooming by a high school teacher. She fought for justice for her son and other children, and in so doing, her home state, Illinois, became the first, and to date, only grooming conviction in the United States. Currently, she is working on model legislation for all 50 states whereby someone charged with grooming cannot take a plea deal.
